Surfboard Surfing
Experienced surfers have dozens of surf breaks to choose from, even if in the New England coast, but each of us must decide which break to call our own on a given day. Or, if you're starting as a surfer, you should choose one that breaks your wave of choice and continue until you have passed everything I can from him. All surfers must decide where to paddle, so here is a checklist to help you make the most informed decision.
People
With the growing popularity of surfing worldwide, there is always surf spots that are a little more known for localism, which is not a forum for beginner. Customers can be mean and possessive of their waves, so you want to find a break where the people are friendly. If you are a people person, is the head somewhere friendly, where you will not get his head cut off if you get in an explosion in the water. Or, if you're the kind of loneliness and can maintain their own water, then is OK to hit people where kind of tormented grin you. In most cases, however, it is always nice to be surrounded by people who are friendly and even can initiate a conversation with yourself if you are strangers.
Trend towards quality and consistency
The quality conditions that make a pleasant surfing experience, but you can get a good picture of what is happening in your area simply by looking at the height of the waves and wind direction of a local website. Or you can always head to the beach and check the quality of the waves visually. On the quality of the waves, however, consistency is real sets. Sets are simply a group of waves breaking over time. Would you like to paddle when the games come in at least every 15 minutes. Thus, everybody can not get a wave or two and not have to fight it. All surfers in the water for the same reason: to have a smooth and relaxed with little chance of drowning. Share, when the waves are good, but even if not as good.
Water Quality
The sky can be perfectly blue and the temperature hot, but if water is not, you certainly do not want to paddle. Die-hard surfers might paddle in conditions of shit, but there was an oil spill or wastewater discharge, although they resist the water. Surfers want to be able to get their heads wet without stinking or, worse, to be sick from contaminated water. Berries in general tend to have better wave conditions but more polluted water. You decide what is most important to you. Check your local website for water quality conditions in your area, especially after rain.
Some other things to look for in a surge of freshwater showers, functioning bathrooms, and security. If you tend to surf before or after work and have no time to run home to change, it is absolutely necessary to find a break with a shower and bath. It is also recommended choose a break that has a lifeguard or rescue is near the water. Also consider surfing at a break that rock above water at low tide, or currents known we can aspire again to sea. Ask friends who surf where they want to go.
